Virtua Cop (known as Virtua Squad in North America) is a series of 3D light gun shooter games.

Characters[]
- Michael "Rage" Hardy - Known to act before he thinks, "Rage" is a bit of a hot head who relies on intuition and his own physical abilities. His father, Detective John Hardy, is killed by Joe Fang prior to the events of the first game.
- James "Smarty" Cools - Michael's partner on the force, and his complete opposite, "Smarty" is a calm and collected mind who is relies on his wits and deduction, although his gunplay is every bit as good as "Rage".
- Janet Marshall - A brilliant psychoanalyst, Janet joined the force to fight for her deceased partner. Playable only in Virtua Cop 2.
- Joe Fang - An international terrorist and the main antagonist of the series throughout each game. He's responsible for killing Rage's father and has made an enemy of the VCPD.

- Fighters Megamix - 1997, Saturn. Janet Marshall appears as a playable guest fighter. Her fighting style is based off of Aoi Umenokoji's fighting style from Virtua Fighter 3.
- Sega Superstars Tennis - 2008, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Mac OS. Contains a minigame based on the series, although it retains it's North American name, Virtua Squad.
- 404 Game Re:Set - 2023, Android, IOS, Windows. Both an Anode and Cathode personafied version of the game appeared as characters.
- Wreck-It Ralph - 2012, film. A Virtua Cop arcade cabinet can be seen in Litwak's arcade
