Valkyria Chronicles 3: Extra Edition (戦場のヴァルキュリア3 Extra Edition) is an expanded version of the third title in the Valkyria Chronicles series, released exclusively in Japanese on the PlayStation Portable. This version contains some additional DLC pre-packaged onto the disc, and includes three additional episodes not released in the original release of Valkyria Chronicles 3 and the pre-order exclusive mission 'Kurt Irving's first mission' which shows Kurt's very first mission before the events of the game.

- The DLC inclusions are:
- Kurt Irving's First Mission: This DLC takes place before the start of the game. Only Kurt Irving and the generic Gallian soldiers can partake in this battle.
- The Secret of Her Powers: This DLC takes place before the battle at Naggiar Plains. Riela Marcellis is sent on a scouting mission to Aslone, hoping to defend it from the Imperials. However, it has already fallen to the Imperial Empire. Having left her shield and lance behind for the sake of speed, Riela must use a knife she keeps with her as a replacement conduit to use her Valkyrian powers and take back Aslone. For her efforts she is rewarded a vacation day with Kurt.
- No. 1 is Restless: During a mission in the snow, Imca finds her resistance to the cold is particularly bad. During a mission to attack an Imperial Army base, Imca has to fend off the cold whilst clearing out the enemy. Kurt suggests her having his blanket as well, but she refuses not wanting him to be subject to the cold. With no blankets left, they share a blanket together. Riela comes in and ends up interrogating Imca about the situation.
- The Barricaded Harbour: A penalty mission DLC.
