The Time Eater is a character of Sonic the Hedgehog series. It serves as the final boss of Sonic Generations and the remaster of Sonic X Shadow Generations. The Time Eater is a being capable of time travel and erasing time itself. It is revealed later that both versions of Dr. Eggman harnessed the Time Eater's capabilities in an attempt to erase both Modern and Classic Sonics from their own timelines forever.
