Thunder Blade is a helicopter-based third-person shooter released for the Master System, originally released in arcades in 1987. Sega also developed Super Thunder Blade, a sequel on the Mega Drive/Genesis.
Gameplay[]
The player controls a helicopter using guns and missiles to destroy enemy tanks, helicopters, etc., to save his home country. Levels are in both a top-down and third-person perspective view. The boss levels are in the top-down view. The game's plot and setting resembles the TV/Flim property Blue Thunder released a few years prior.
