Teddy Boy is a small boy with brown hair, a blue t-shirt and a green beret (although the western box art erroniously makes it a baseball cap). He is always seen with a unique gun, the Microgun, which will shrink whatever Teddy Boy shoots, transforming them into a harmless ball.
History[]
According to the Japanese manual for the arcade title, Teddy Boy and Japanese pop star Yoko Ishino are trapped in a maze full of monsters. Yoko is too scared to help herself get through the maze of monsters, but Teddy Boy armed with his microgun decides to take care of the creatures that are trapped with them in order to help himself and Yoko escape, whilst Yoko cheers him on through song.
Teddy Boy's bonus game consists of him shooting cardboard cutouts from behind, attempting to get a high score. During these stages he may also have Flicky and Pengo as targets to shoot.
Trivia[]
Teddy Boy appears in Quartet alongside Alex Kidd, Egle and Opa-Opa as part of the sound test ran by Mary. Here he hits some sort of red instrument.
Teddy Boy appears on the 'boxart' for Game no Kanzume Otokuyou. His game was featured in both this and Game no Kanzume Vol 2
