Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania is a remastered collection of Super Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball 2 and Super Monkey Ball Deluxe releasing for the Nintendo Switch on October 5, 2021. Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania was announced on July 15, 2021 at Nintendo's E3 presentation.
The playable cast are AiAi, MeeMee, Baby, GonGon, YanYan and Doctor with Jam and Jet as unlockable characters. The Monkey alts from Super Monkey Ball 3D return here too, doubling the playable monkey roster.
Additionally, digital preorders will obtain classic versions of each of the monkeys as they appeared in Super Monkey Ball. YanYan and Doctor are said to also have 'classic' style versions despite not debuting in that game.
On top of this, digital preorders will also obtain the ability to play as a Game Gear, Dreamcast or Sega Saturn in a monkey ball.
These digital pre-order bonuses have been stated to be paid DLC for the physical release.

- Beat (Jet Set Radio): Playing as Beat changes the bananas into spray cans! Announced 4th August, 2021.
- Sonic (Sonic the Hedgehog): Sonic was discovered in the website's image files on the 15th June, 2021, but revealed officially on 11th August alongside Tails.
- Tails (Sonic the Hedgehog): Tails was discovered in the website's image files on the 15th June, 2021, but revealed officially on 11th August alongside Sonic.
- Kiryu (Yakuza): Kiryu collects Stamina X drinks instead of bananas! Kiryu was announced on the 18th August 2021.
- Morgana (Persona): Morgana steals chests instead of bananas! Morgana was revealed at Gamescom on 25th August 2021. Morgana was a DLC character however Morgana was delisted on November 3, 2022 from all platforms for reasons unknown.[1]
- Game Gear: Originally revealed as a digital pre-order on July 15th, Game Gear was officially revealed in a trailer on the 11th September 2021. DLC pre-order. Does not change the bananas.
- Sega Saturn: Originally revealed as a digital pre-order on July 15th, Saturn was officially revealed in a trailer on the 11th September 2021. DLC pre-order. Does not change the bananas.
- Dreamcast: Originally revealed as a digital pre-order on July 15th, Dreamcast was officially revealed in a trailer on the 11th September 2021. DLC pre-order. Does not change the bananas.

- Hello Kitty: Revealed on September 1st, 2021, playing as Hello Kitty changes bananas into apples. She was a DLC character, however she was delisted on October 6, 2022.[2]
- Suezo (Monster Rancher): Revealed on September 2nd, 2021, playing as Suezo changes bananas into monster discs. He was a DLC character. Suezo was, however delisted on October 19, 2022 from all platforms for reasons unknown.[3]
