Sonic Runners was a Sonic game that was released on June 25, 2015 for iOS and Android.
It was shut down on July 26, 2016.
Gameplay[]
Sonic Runners is an endless 2D runner. In the game you need to get rings to raise your score. There are also power-ups that gives you new abilities that you can use such as Wisps, invincibility and crystals.
Characters could equip 'buddies' which when equipped would add bonuses to each racer. Buddies varied wildly from cameo characters like NiGHTS or Puyo Puyo's Carbuncle to the Orca from Sonic Adventure, but the most common type were Chao.
