Sonic Racing: Crossworlds is an upcoming 2025 Sonic racing game developed by Sonic Team for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam and Epic Games.
Gameplay[]
The game introduces a new warp mechanic, allowing the racer in front to select the next track area by giving them a choice between two travel rings. Upon entering the ring, the next location is set.
Like Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, players will be able to travel via land, sea and sky, using customizable vehicles including Sonic Riders style Extreme Gear hover boards. In total there are 45 unique vehicles to choose from with the ability to customize those vehicles by swapping out over 70 different parts.
The game is said to include 24 main tracks, and 15 warp ring CrossWorld locations. There are 23 weapons to use against opponents.
