Sonic Labyrinth is a Sonic the Hedgehog puzzle game for the Game Gear.
Plot[]
The story involves Sonic sleeping while one of Dr. Robotnik's Badniks come in and replace his shoes with ones that do not let him run. Sonic then has to make it through Dr. Robotnik's labyrinths in order to take of the shoes and regain his speed.
Gameplay[]
Sonic Labyrinth gameplay.
Sonic's only remaining ability is the Spin Dash. This game is an isometric puzzle game where the player must collect 3 keys in order to progress to the next stage, similar to the style of Sonic 3D Blast.
Levels[]
There are a total of 4 different labyrinths with 3 acts and a boss battle each. The stages are:
- Labyrinth of the Sky
- Labyrinth of the Sea
- Labyrinth of the Factory
- Labyrinth of the Castle
This game also has bonus stages.
Trivia[]
- One of the game's bosses, Needle Man, shares its name with the character of the same name from the Mega Man series.
