Skeleton T (スケルトンT) is a reoccurring opponent in the Puyo Puyo franchise and enemy in Madou Monogatari franchise.

Appearance[]

Originally a non descript skeleton weilding a sword and shield, Skeleton T's design altered to a more squat skeleton who would be seen holding a cup of tea.

Personality[]

Generally pretty calm and relaxed, he's deeply obsessed with drinking tea, finding his tea or offering tea. The few times he isn't in this zen state of mind are when his tea is threatened such as when Draco Centaurus evaporates his beloved drink with her fire breath.

This overly relaxed state extends to his playstyle with Puyo, either not thinking or an inability to rotate his Puyo in battle.

Trivia[]

  • Skeleton T is the first enemy/opponent in any Puyo Puyo game he appears in. This is likely due to Skeleton T being the first forced encounter in Madou Monogatari I.
  • Skeleton T is infamous for not being able to rotate his Puyos in battle. However there is one game in which he is able to; the Game Gear port of Puyo Puyo.
  • His special abilities in Puyo Puyo~n and Pocket Puyo Puyo~n also involve the lack of Puyo rotation:
    • Super Dynamic Ocha Bomber (Puyo Puyo~n) Providing the player doesn't rotate their Puyo, a Nuisance multiplier is applied to their chains, starting at x1, increasing to 1.1 after the first pair is placed, gaining 0.1 for every two pairs that are placed maxing out at x4.0.
    • 18-Bone's Curse (Pocket Puyo Puyo~n) For a short while, the opponent cannot rotate their Puyo.
  • Skeleton T offers a refreshing cup of tea in Waku Puyo Dungeon that heals the player(either Arle Nadja, Rulue or Schezo Wegey) before becoming a boss. This is a possible shout out to him being the enemy that guards the Healing spell.
  • He appears in Kotodamon as a tag team with Suketoudara.
  • Skeleton T is part of a trio in Puyo Puyo 7 with two other nameless skeletons.
