Shadow of the Beast is a platform video game, developed by Reflections Interactive and published by Psygnosis in 1989 for the Amiga. The early 1990's saw the game being ported for other consoles, including the Mega Drive in 1991 and Master System in 1992.
Plot[]
A man named Aarbron is kidnapped as a child and turned into a monster by Maletoth. His memories return after seing the exectution of a man, whom he later recognizes as his father. Aarbron seeks revenge on Maletoth and after stopping him, the curse is broken and Aarbron is restored to a more humanoid form.
