Sega Mega Drive Classics, known as Sega Genesis Classics in North America, is a compilation title featuring Sega Mega Drive games released for home consoles on May 29, 2018. Sega released a free application on Steam on April 28, 2016, called the Sega Mega Drive Classics Hub, known as Sega Genesis Classics Hub in North America. The main menu is themed after a bedroom of a Sega fanatic with various Sega related decor, a bookshelf full of Sega Mega Drive games, and a CRT TV with a Genesis plugged in. The home console version uses the same interface as Sega Mega Drive Classics Hub, but with added features such as achievements and rewinding in-game.

Sega re-released the first four physically released volumes as the Sega Mega Drive Classic Collection: Gold Edition, known as Sega Genesis Classics: Gold Edition in North America, for Microsoft Windows. It is a four-disc set of the forty-six Sega Mega Drive games from the first four volumes. The collection has configuring keyboard support which provides a personalised gaming experience, as well as a multiplayer mode for a select number of titles.
