- The front covers were drawn by Pokémon character designer Ken Sugimori.
- Rather than simple emulation on the cartridge, each game has been rebuilt to include stereoscopic 3D.
- The game includes 3D titles that used the the Master System's 3-D Glasses, Sega's attempt at bringing 3D to home consoles.
- Fantasy Zone includes an extra mode where you play as Opa-Opa's brother, Upa-Upa.
