Rub Rabbits is a series of minigame compilation games on the Nintendo DS developed by Sonic Team, and taking advantage of the systems unique stylus based control system.
The game was created by former Space Channel 5 veteran, Takumi Yoshinaga, who came up with the concept when realising that the words "Rub" and "Love" pronounced in Japanese and began playing around with the idea of a game based around finding love and using the DS' stylus to perform actions in the game to win minigames and win the girls' heart.
The series officially has no clear cut name, as the title of the games varies wildly region to region, but retains the same black silhouette character aesthetics and the same protagonist throughout it's games.
