Out Run 3-D is a Master System title released by Sega in 1988. It is a home port of Out Run that works with the Sega 3-D Glasses. It is also a compatible title for the Paddle Control.
Gameplay[]
This title utilises the Sega 3-D Glasses by alternating frames between the left and right eye, creating a 3D effect. The 3D mode only works with the Sega 3-D Glasses however, and as such contains a "2-D mode" for players without the peripheral.
Trivia[]
- This game was not officially released in Japan, despite being compatible with the Japanese exclusive Paddle Control. This was likely due to a late cancellation for the Japanese release, as a decision was made to not release any more games for the Master System in Japan after the Mega Drive released there on 29th October, 1988.
- The title also didn't arrive on North American shores despite having a planned release.
