Mecha Sonic is a recurring boss in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. They are a series of robots similar to Metal Sonic.
Appearance[]
Mecha Sonic's appearance varies between games. In Sonic the Hedgehog 2, he was a silver robot with red eyes. In Sonic & Knuckles, he was taller and gained a blue appearance with white eyes. In Sonic the Hedgehog Pocket Adventure, he regained his appearance from Sonic 2. In Sonic the Comic, he gained a design similar to that of his Sonic & Knuckles design, but altered to match that of the Metallix. In issue 6, he had a more ruined look from his Sonic 2 design. In the canceled Sonic X-treme, he gained a red, white and blue paint scheme with red eyes.
Abilities[]
Much like its organic template, Mecha Sonic has the ability to Spin Dash.
