Maria Robotnik was the granddaughter of Gerald Robotnik, and the cousin of Dr. Eggman. She lived much of her life on Space Colony ARK with the life form of Project Shadow. Shadow became accounted with Maria as she was the only friend or other person to confide with in the isolated environment. Maria was a good companion to the dark hedgehog through out her time until she was gunned down by a GUN soldier while helping Shadow escape. Her final wish was for Shadow to protect humanity and help those in need.
