Not to be confused with Linda from Samba de Amigo or the game Linda³

Linda is a member of Team Spike and one of the four reoccurring protagonists of the SpikeOut series.

Appearance[]

Linda is a curvacious blonde woman with long legs.

At 23, her hair is shoulder length, and she wears a low cut red top, a matching collar style choker, long black gloves with thick cuffs, matching high heeled boots, a pair of tights and a white miniskirt. Her midriff is exposed.

At 33 she goes for a slightly more mature look, growing her hair out, wearing a pearl necklace and a second more elaborate necklace, silver dangling earrings, thick red bracelet. and an orange front tied floaty crop top. She also wears a black miniskirt and red thigh high boots that match her bracelets.

History[]

A young woman from a successful family, Linda was instilled with a strong sense of justice, and morality. It was this strong sense of right and wrong that meant she would inevitably end up fighting on the mean streets of Diesel Town, fighting against those she considers crooked.

She eventually ran into Spike, White and Tenshin and the four of them formed their own street gang, Team Spike.

Of the members of Team Spike, she would end up often as the voice of reason, which lead to her being the mediator between White and Tenshin who couldn't stand one another.

Diesel Town was always a town full of frustrated and angry youth gangs, running riot with violence, and following their leaders into gang wars, but the situation became far worse when "Team Inferno" from another city mobilized to take over Dieseltown with an army of thugs. The takeover was precise and brutally bloody as every gang on the island was subjugated by Team Inferno. Whilst some resisted, it ended up falling into Team Spike's hands to drive Team Inferno out.

Ten years later, Linda gets in contact with the now 15 year old Spike Jr, requesting his aid in locating his father and helping free Diesel Town from the reborn "Team Neo Inferno" who had placed a price on Spike's head. She mentions that nobody has heard from any of the other members of Team Spike and requests Spike Jr's help. Spike Jr refuses, but agrees to help clear up Diesel Town in his father's absence, with Linda frustrated over his relationship with Spike.

Linda shows up later at the mall, having come across Min Hua, and warns her to go home in order to keep her safe. When Min Hua claims she's waiting for her boyfriend to show up, Linda shows disgust that a man would leave a lovely young lady waiting in such a dangerous area, but tells Min Hua to hide until he arrives and immediately leave. Linda then takes her leave telling Min Hua to stay safe.

Linda shows up later alongside her previous team members, having finally located Spike. She greets Min Hua again and expresses relief she is unharmed. She, alongside the rest of Team Spike, end up leaving the final conflict with Mikhael up to their successors, Team Neo Spike.

Trivia[]

  • Linda is the only playable female character in the initial two SpikeOut titles, until Spikers Battle added Hikaru, and SpikeOut: Battle Street added Min Hua and Fiona.
  • Linda curiously has different controls from the rest of her team, with B being her kick and C being her punch.
  • Linda's increased speed makes her a good choice for newcomers to the SpikeOut series.
