Laser Ghost is an arcade game intended to build on the success of the movie Ghostbusters.
Plot[]
Demonic ghosts have invaded the city, kidnapping an innocent girl and are terrorizing citizens. As a member of a crack three man ghost hunting unit, you venture into the city to try and rescue her, shooting numerous ghosts along the way.
Gameplay[]
There are three guns set up, representing the three members of a ghost hunting team.
The gameplay consists of a series of missions that the player and two others can play together, shooting every ghost that appears on screen as they shoot projectiles back at the player. After traversing through a stage, the players will come across a boss ghost in that area, having to defeat them before proceeding to the next stage.
Player health can be recovered by shooting med kits.
Remake[]
A remake of the 1990 original arcade video game will be released in 2022 in the arcades.
Trivia[]
- There is a Master System title with the same name released exclusively in Europe. The game is however completely different with the only similarities being shooting ghosts.
