Personality[]
The youngest member of the Flower Division, Iris does not use a weapon like her teammates, but she has psionic Energy Amplifying powers. She is also capable of teleportation. Her parents apparently kept her locked in her room for a long time, scared by her psychic abilities, until Ayame approached them and offered to take Iris to Japan.
Although from a rich family, Iris is not by any ways spoiled, being very well mannered, polite, extremely cheerful and caring. She had a platonic crush in Ogami in the first game self-proclaiming that she was his girlfriend(A statement that causes Ogami to be worried mostly), but as her chapter progresses, Iris feelings turns from a short-sighted crush into a more maturing, genuine admiration and respect for Ogami as her captain and older-brother figure, althought sometimes she still self-proclaims that she will become Ogami's wife when she becomes 20 years old.
Iris does not like to be call as a "children" or to be treated as one, always answering back that "she is NOT a child". She has a particular sisterly bond friendship with Sakura Shinguji, being always for each other. She can be grumpy sometimes(Or truly enraged when someone hurts her feelings, especially if someone talks badly about her parents) but in major part she is a very friendly and precocious girl, always bringing a sunshine of happiness and hope to anyone she is closer not matter how frozen is their heart, being one of them a living proof of that: Reni Milchstraße, who becomes a closer friend of Iris thanks to that.
In TV Series, Iris has a, surprising, depressing side which is uncommon from her, as she experienced loneliness and fear from other people. She grows up and overcome the sadness thanks to her friends, especially Sakura. That dark side of Iris was particularly adapted into Ikku Masa's mangá adaptation partially, turning more deep the development of Iris as a character during her chapter.
