Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit is a platformer game published by Sega in 2012.

Plot[]

Ash is the skeletal rabbit ruler of hell, having inherited the role from his father. In order to rule over the denizens of hell, Ash must keep them in constant fear and awe of him...but that's undermined one day when a paparazzi breaks into his home and manages to snap a photo of him enjoying a bath with his favourite rubber ducky.

Exactly 100 monsters of hell have seen the photo. The simplest solution to solve this issue? Kill those 100 monsters and restore Ash's reputation as being the brutal lord of hell.

Gameplay[]

Ash starts the game without any weaponry, but his faithful butler Nestor (a top hat-wearing octopus) will soon give him a 'jet pack' which is in actual fact a gigantic circular buzzsaw that spins, allowing Ash to drill through solid rock as well as hover in the air briefly.

Upon finding one of the 100 monsters, Ash will grind them up with his buzzsaw, and when their health is depleted, players will enter a finisher minigame that varies greatly from monster to monster with each being a unique end to that partciular creature's life. Upon killing all the monsters who have seen Ash's photo in a certain area, a door is unlocked allowing Ash to progress further into hell's depths.

'Loot' (gems and treasures) is obtained from drilling through rock with the buzzsaw. Ash can use this 'Loot' to purchase missiles and long-ranged weaponry to deal with enemies he cannot touch with the buzzsaw, such as a flying brain enemy charged with electricity. He can purchase new skins for both himself, his buzzsaw and his missiles allowing a great deal of customization.

Ash can also restore his health by visiting a nurse eyeball, where he can top up his 'blood' levels, and many levels require going back and forth avoiding dangerous traps, killing lesser enemies (who are not a part of the 100 monsters) and finding how to kill the monster target.
