ファイヤーウッド王国の 到るところで、デス＝アダ ー軍と住民お戦いが起こっ ていた。だが、そのほとん どはデス＝アダー軍の圧勝に終わり、逆ら った者たち全てが殺された。 ギリウスは、たった１人の肉親であ る弟のガリーと共に、ファイヤーウッ ドの兵士として戦いに参加していた。 だが、情勢はギリウスたちにとって不利な方へと動き、遂 にデス＝アダー軍はファイヤーウッド城の前までやってきた。 王国軍も善戦したが、数倍の数を誇る敵の前に次々と倒れて いった。ギリウスも何人もの敵兵を屍へと変えていったが、 一瞬の油断をつかれ、背に一撃を食らいその場に昏倒した。 しばらくして、ギリウスは頬を伝う生暖いものを感じ、意 識を取り戻した。誰かが上に乗っているらしく、身動きが取 れない。力を振り絞り、それをどけようと体をひねった。 そのとき、ギリウスの目に写ったのは、まるでギリウスを かばうかのように覆い被さっていた、ガリーの変わりはてた 姿であった。「ガリーーーー！」ギリウスの号泣が誰もいない 戦場にいつまでも続いていたーーーーーー。 |

Gilius, and his younger brother and only relative Garī, had participated in the battle as soldiers of Firewood. However, the situation moves toward the unfavorable for Gilius, and eventually Death=Adder's army came to the front of the Firewood Castle. The kingdom's army has fought well, but felt one after another in front of the several times higher amount of enemies. Gilius too was one of the persons facing the enemy soldiers, but instead of dying, he let his guard down for a moment while tired and was hit on the back, releasing a cry while falling unconscious on the spot. After a while, Gilius's cheeks feel the raw warm casting running down, he regained consciousness. Someone else seemed to be lying above him, he could not move. Shaking with force, the twisted body as if trying to protect him. Then, what was reflected in the eyes of Gilius, is the figure of Garī overhanging on Gilius as if to protect him. ファイヤーウッド王国が、デ ス＝アダーによって滅ぼされて から６年の月日がたった。その間に、 デス＝アダーの魔の手はその南に位 置するサウスウッド王国にまで伸び ていた。 サウスウッドの城は占拠され、 王と王女は幽閉されていた。 町には戦いの傷跡が生々しく残り、どの店も寂れていた。
うらぶれた酒場のカウンターに３人の男女が座っていた。１人
は筋肉質で屈強そうな男、１人は白い髭を生やしたドワーフ、
もう１人は淡い栗色の髪をした美しい女性であった。
一同はしばらく黙っていたが、屈強な男が地の２人に向か
って口を開いた。「ここから先はデス＝アダーの支配地だ。生
きて帰れる保証は何もない。やめたいなら止めはしない。」 |
Six years have passed since Death=Adder destroyed the Firewood Kingdom. In the meantime, Death=Adder's demonic hand had been extendeding to the Southwood Kingdom, which is located in the south.
