Fantasy Zone is a space shoot 'em up arcade game released by Sega in 1986
It was later ported to a wide variety of consoles, including the Master System. The game is surreal, and the player controls a sentient spacecraft named Opa-Opa who fights nonsensical invader enemies in the titular group of planets, full of settings atypical of the traditional scrolling shooter and pastel colors; for that reason, it is occasionally dubbed a "cute 'em up".
Plot[]
Gameplay[]
The gameplay is pretty simple. Players can fly Opa-Opa in many directions and shoot small projectiles at the enemies, which populate the area. Occasionally, a little red balloon pops up that says "SHOP". Touch it to get to the shop and buy new weapons and another life.
Players can also both walk and fly. The first level is Plaleaf and its theme is called "Opa-Opa!"
