Enduro Racer (エンデューロレーサー) is an arcade racing game developed by Studio 128 and released by Sega in 1986, the main theme being dirt bike racing and using a similar engine and PCB as Hang-On. Two versions of the arcade machine were produced, being the sit-down style and stand-up style.
From 1987 to 1989, the game was released to multiple systems such as the Master System, ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC and Atari ST.
Gameplay[]
The player must navigate a dirt bike through seven levels of varying difficulty, elevation changes and turns, avoiding obstacles such as logs, boulders and other riders on the road while competing against a timer. Players can pull up the handlebars on the cabinet to perform a wheelie, being able to jump over logs and land with the wheelie technique without doing a risk crashing.
