Eliot Ballade is one of the protagonists of Blue Stinger.
Appearance[]
Eliot is a slender young man with an athletic body type. He has short brown hair, blue eyes with a scar on his left cheek just under his eye. He wears a blue t-shirt, blue jeans, a brown belt and brown shoes.
History[]
On Christmas Eve, 2018, Eliot Ballade, Emergency Sea Evacuation and Rescue operator was taking some time off near Dinosaur Island in the Peninsula of Mexico with his friend Tim where they planned to relax over the Christmas holidays with some fishing and sailing. Tim was constructing a good luck charm for the ship, whilst Eliot asked why Chimeratech decided to open such a big research lab on an island as tiny as Dinosaur Island, but Tim states he doesn't know as he's just a regular staff member who isn't even allowed on the island.
Eliot asks Tim how he managed to own the yacht they were on with a low paying job, but Tim explains that he's actually renting it for the day from Chimeratech thanks to his friend, Captain Dogs Bower acting as a guarantor, with the condition that he and Eliot decorate it and return it for Christmas Day. Eliot, hearing this is annoyed, not wanting to work as this is his first day off in two years. He asks about the doll Tim is creating, asking if that too is part of the decorations, but Tim informs him it's meant to be a good luck charm, a Nephilim.
Suddenly a meteor falls from the sky striking Dinosaur Island. Eliot quickly informs Tim to start the engine, and they'll head to Dinosaur Island as he's concerned people on the island may need help. As Eliot attempts to radio the island, a huge energy pulse acting as a forcefield blasts over the ship, bisecting it in two. Eliot is knocked to the floor, with Tim caught in outside the blast seemingly trapped in stasis. A light appears and appears to mimic the doll in the bottle Tim's holding, taking the form of the Nephilim. Eliot is concerned about Tim, and holds his gun nervously towards the doll, when suddenly creatures from the island speed towards the yacht. Eliot dives overboard, and they collide destroying half the ship.
As Eliot sinks in the water, Nephilim appears to grab him, dragging him to the island. Whilst unconscious, Nephilim gives him a vision of the meteor strike, making Eliot jump to alert. Realising he's on the island, Eliot immediately attempts to radio the island, and manages to get in contact with Janine King, who requests a rescue. However Eliot is currently unarmed, and informs her that he also needs help. Janine informs him that he'll need an ID card to get into the island, and to take one from a corpse on the ground. Eliot, surprised, ventures into the island and ends up looting a corpse. Along the way he is attacked by a mutated human which he fights off.
As he runs towards the island he is attacked by a mutated monster but is rescued by Dogs Bower who had been trailing him trying to find Tim. Dogs asks where Tim is, and Eliot stutters. Dogs demands to know if Tim is dead, and Eliot responds that he unfortunately doesn't know. Dogs gets upset, and recalls that Tim spoke highly of his friend Eliot. Eliot begins to head towards the island, informing Dogs that there are people who need rescuing. Dogs laughs and states Eliot is a wimp and will need real help from someone like him. Eliot takes offence, but they both head in where they meet Nephilim, with Dogs pulling a gun it.
To Eliot's shock, he has a vision of a creature and knows Nephilim's name, but is unsure of why. Nephilim flies off, and they head further in towards a bridge. They are attacked by another mutated marine creature but are saved by Janine King sniping the creature. Eliot compliments her telling her she'd be ranked A+ if she was in the ESER. Janine tells him that flattery like that will not get him anywhere with her, and Eliot immediately becomes smitten with her, warning Dogs to stay away from her as she's his kind of girl.
