Egle is the ruling king of Radaxian, brother of Alex Kidd, husband of Princess Lora and previously a Knight Prince known for slaying monsters and rescuing damsels.
Egle first makes his appearance in the 1985 Master System title, Pit Pot, in which he is the protagonist.
Without his armour on, Egle looks very much just like a color palette swap of his brother Alex, only blue instead of red.
In Pit Pot he wears a large white and magenta suit of armour that covers his entire body, including his face. He also wields a green mallet known as the Sorceror's Hammer.
In Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX, Egle looks very much like Alex but with a fancier outfit, neater hair, green eyes, and more normal sized hands.
History[]
Prince Egle travels to Pit Pot Castle to rescue Princess Lora, upon hearing of her kidnapping at the hands of the evil witch known only as the Sorceror. Upon arriving outside he discovers the 'Sorceror's Hammer' that the witch dropped in her haste, picks it up and proceeded to venture inside.
Whilst there he defeats monsters and creatures using the magic hammer, destroying their footing and collecting three magical items; the golden bottle of holy water needed to dispell the curse on the Princess, a magic cross used to seal Sorceror's magic and finally a ring in order to ask Princess Lora to marry him.
Upon her successful rescuing Princess Lora agrees to marry Egle, and the nation of Radaxian celebrates until Janken the Great, a tyrant from Planet Paper-Rock appears on Aries and turns the civilians to stone, imprisoning Egle and Lora within the royal castle at the same time King Thunder goes missing.
Fortunately for Egle and Lora, Egle's long lost brother shows up, frees the two of them, and proceeds to defeat Janken the Great and reversing his spell over the people of Radaxian using the golden crown.
Egle then takes up the mantle of ruling king of Radaxian in his father's absence. Alex meanwhile travels to Paperock to search for King Thunder.
