Dropzone is a scrolling space shoot 'em up game, developed by Arena Graphics. Originally an Atari 8-bit game, it was later ported for the Game Gear, released in 1994.
The game takes place on Io, where a Human base is attacked by extraterrestrials. The player controls an astronaut in spacesuit equipped with jetpack, while firing a raygun.
