ChuBei is a large round yellow earred ChuChu. He wears a yellow space suit, with a helmet that allows his ears to pop out from within it. His tail is curlier than the average ChuChu.

ChuBei first appeared in the manual for ChuChu Rocket! where he is described as being a ChuChu who is a careless ChuChu who feigns ignorance and is said to be the pilot of the yellow rocket.

Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing[]
In Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, ChuBei appears alongside his fellow pilots Chuih, ChuPea and ChuBach riding in ChuPea's Rocket as their vehicle of choice. Their All-Star move summons a KapuKapu, which Chuih rides atop whilst the others flee in the rocket.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed[]
In Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, ChuBei and the other pilots appear as a cameo hologram in the Race of Ages stage, although they are no longer playable.
