Not to be confused with Pro Wrestling, a 1986 title for the Master System.
Champion Pro Wrestling was a sports title for the SG-1000 developed by Sega and released in 1985.
Gameplay[]
Players can move forwards and backwards around the ring as well as jump.
Players can select wrestling moves from a list as they move forward, selecting it more like they would in a traditional JRPG than a wrestling title. Moving back will allow players to avoid incoming attacks leaving their opponent vulnerable to a counter attack.
At the bottom of the screen is a health bar. Reducing the opponents life will allow the player to pin their opponent and win the match with the less health an opponent has the less likely they are to get out of a pin. Matches are best two out of three.
In single player, player 1 will start at rank C and must work their way up the ranks to challenge the champ.
Player 1's moves consists of:
- Chop
- Kick
- Drop Kick
- Pile Driver
- One Hand B.B.
Player 2/CPU's moves consist of:
- Chop
- Kick
- Drop Kick
- Pile Driver
- Sovatt
