Big Blue is an Ecco the Dolphin character. He is an extremely old Blue whale that knows about the Asterite and the vortex that appeared in the sky.

History[]
Big Blue is one of the oldest creatures in the sea. He went North to die, most likely of age. Ecco went to find him and he told Ecco about the Asterite and how he doesn't know much about the Vortex kind.
In Ecco Jr., Ecco meets Big Blue in The Endless Sea.
Appearance[]
Big Blue resembles a normal Blue whale.

- In Ecco Jr. and Ecco: The Tides of Time, all the Blue whales use the same sprite as Big Blue.
