History[]
Skies of Arcadia[]
Aika's parents were killed when she was a small child, and she was temporarily adopted into Vyse's family until she could look after herself with Vyse's father Dyne acting as a foster father during this time.
At the age of ten during one botched rescue mission where she and Vyse were mistaken for attacking the distressed ship, they were attacked in retaliation. The enemy attempted to take Aika's life, but Vyse pushed her out the way, recieving a scar underneath his eye as a result of this heroic act. Aika feels incredibly guilty about Vyse's injury, but Vyse seems undaunted by it.
Aika and Vyse later go on to form the Blue Rogues pirates, a group of air pirates who only attack armed ships larger than their own, and vow to never attack unarmed or merchant vessels.
Aika fell into a well as a child. This traumatised her so much she never learnt to swim.
Aika is the quickest character in Skies of Arcadia.
All of Aika's S attacks are named after letters in the Greek alphabet.
Aika's Valkyria Chronicles counterpart is the only Skies of Arcadia guest character to not appear in the anime adaption unlike Vyse and Fina's counterparts.
Aika is considered to be the second best scout in Valkyria Chronicles after Alicia Melchiott, sharing many of her more positive abilities such as Double Movement and Resist Crossfire which allows her to run further than many scouts and take less damage from enemies. This coupled with orders from Welkin Gunther can completely break the game.
In Valkyria Chronicles 3, despite her, Vyse and Fina belonging to Squad 7, they are unavailable to play as in replays of the mission "Pierce the Central Front" which only allows Squad 7 members as playable.
